Tom Appleman has been teaching Bass, Ear Training, and Ensemble at Berklee College of Music since 2003. Focal points are good time keeping, strong tone, and meaningful placement of melodic and rhythmic lines. He also has a bass lesson series on Jamplay.com that focuses on bass lines in an array of styles. Appleman plays a numerous set of styles including jazz, funk, rock, latin, and country. He is also a strong vocalist as well as pianist. Lessons are available on a first come, first serve basis.
Private bass lessons are available for all levels; beginner, intermediate, or advanced.
